Arsenal are well-known for bringing in young talent that go on to become important members of the first team and another player could be ready to make that jump from the U-23 team in the form of Omari Hutchinson.
The youngster has steadily been impressing in the youth teams and was even part of the Gunners’ pre-season tour earlier this year. Able to play in a variety of positions, the Englishman has thrilled fans with his dribbling in particular.
Hutchinson once again made the news after his brilliant display helped the U-23’s beat their Blackburn Rovers counterparts 3-2. The 18-year-old scored the team’s second goal and the win has helped push them to top of the league table.
The midfielder’s performances have led to comparisons with another Academy product Bukayo Saka. And if there is anyone who has shown the path to follow for other youngsters, it is the Arsenal No. 7.
Gunners fans were gushing in their praise for Hutchinson, particularly after the Blackburn match. They took to Twitter to show their love and here are some of the best reactions:

Omari Hutchinson really is fantastic man. Goes outside and inside. Could be such a brilliant player if he translates to first team.

all round tricky attacking winger. It’s between him and Taylor-Hart for a wide role in the first team next, replacing Pepe

Hutchinson has so many similarities to Saka. Great dribbler, comfortable using his weaker right foot, and dangerous on his left, making him so difficult to defend against at RW.

Better finisher tho

Arsenal Fever View:
It is a credit to the Hale End academy that they have been producing quality players for some time now. Not everyone may make it to the first team but there is a lot of potential that is coming through the ranks.
The England international could soon join the likes of Saka and Emile Smith Rowe and perform a starring role for the club. Due to his ability of playing on the wings, there are some suggestions that the 18-year-old could be in line to replace Nicolas Pepe.
For that to happen, the Ivorian would have to be sold and that does not seem like happening at the moment. Regardless of what happens to Pepe, Mikel Arteta will be happy in the knowledge that he can call upon talents if needed.
The next batch of youngsters coming through Arsenal give everyone at the club a lot of reasons to be excited. With players like Hutchinson leading that charge, the future looks bright for the north Londoners, and we might soon see the midfielder play with the seniors.
