Arsenal have received a huge injury boost ahead of the FA Cup quarter-final against Lincoln City with Iwobi and Ozil taking part in training on Friday.

Iwobi was forced to miss the North London club’s midweek thrashing at the hands of Bayern Munich in the Champions League, after picking up a sickness bug earlier in the week.

Wenger revealed in his pre-match press conference that the midfielder was a doubt for tomorrow’s clash with Lincoln.

Ozil has also been unwell and started off the bench on Tuesday coming on in the second half but the French boss revealed on Thursday that the German playmaker will need to be assessed before the game.

Speaking to Arsenal’s official website, he said:

“I believe that we have two uncertainties: Welbeck, who had to come off after the warm-up against Bayern due to sickness, and Iwobi, who on the day of the game couldn’t turn up as well due to the same problem. Everyone else should be available.”

“[On Mesut Ozil] I haven’t decided yet, he still felt not too well after the game. I will see in training how he feels and I haven’t decided on the team that will start the game on Saturday.”

However, it looks like the duo are now back in contention for a starting berth in the FA Cup quarter-final, as they’ve have been pictured training with their team-mates on Friday.

However, there’s some bad news on Danny Welbeck as the Englishman was not seen in training. The striker was withdrawn from the line-up midweek after complaining of a stomach bug and it seems he’s failed to recover from that.

The Gunners have been enduring a disastrous spell of form over the past few weeks and would need to get back on track to save their season from totally collapsing.

Here are some of the pictures from training:
