‘Outstanding, absolutely Phenomenal’ – Arsenal fans are loving this resurgent Gunners performances

Jack Wilshere

Despite a spirited retaliation from the Eagles, Arsenal managed to hold onto their nerves and secured 3 points at the Selhurst park ending 3-2 at the final whistle.

Shkodran Mustafi’s opener from point-blank range followed by a quickfire double from Alexis Sanchez ensured that the North London club were only one point away from a top-four position.

Alexis Sanchez was back to his best, although it was Jack Wilshere who caught the attention of the fans and the pundits alike. A pinpoint pass from his own half set up Sanchez for his seventh goal of the season.

Arsene Wenger was especially impressed with Jack’s performance reiterating that Wilshere was steadily getting back to his best form. Although the road back to this resurgence hasn’t been a bed of roses for Jack Wilshere.

A series of recurrent injuries and lack of playing time at the Emirates saw him secure a loan move to Bournemouth last season. Even after returning his appearances were limited to the Europa League and other lower leagues.

But a string of inspiring performance saw him push his way into the starting XI in the Premier League. Having started four games in a row, the Englishman jack was upbeat when asked about his fitness levels and his performance recently.

Having come through the Arsenal academy Wilshere always holds a special place in the heart of true Gunners who love him now more than ever. Twitter exploded with praise for the Englishman as the fans expressed their joy on seeing him get back to his best.

On a day when Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger marked his 810th game in charge of the club, Wilshere pulling the strings in the midfield was a rare sight of balance and hope for the talented midfielder.

The Arsenal fans were absolutely delighted with his performance calling him the best midfielder in England. They have urged the club to provide him with a new contract extension and making him the new captain marking the dawn of a new age under his leadership.
