Aaron Ramsey continues his role as the grim reaper

It’s been claimed that if Aaron Ramsey scores a goal, then someone famous dies.
It’s an unfortunate piece of non-scientific data but Ramsey’s recent goal against AC Milan coincidently saw the passing of Professor Stephen Hawkins and the effervescent comedian Ken Dodd, less than a week later.

The Welshman seems unaffected by the claim and with a minor procedure due in the International break, the rich and famous are making the most of this welcome opportunity to live it up while they still have the necessary breath.

Ramsey has amassed quite a collection of high profile stars and public figures including Senator Edward Kennedy, Actor Alan Rickman and pop icon David Bowie.

His goals have seen off the likes of Global boogeyman Osama bin Laden, Colonel Gaddafi, Steve Jobs and even Sir Bruce Forsythe. As the net bulges, so does the cemetery and thank goodness that his effort in the latter stages of Arsenal’s 2nd leg Europa league tie came to nothing or Mary Berry may no longer be gracing our screens with sticky toffee pudding and gargantuan cream filled sponges.

In the next week or so, any celebrity in ill health or on the brink of expiry may need to take special care and not even contemplate leaving the house.

Whitney Houston didn’t even manage to survive a bath and actors Robin Williams and Paul Walker were both culled at the feet of the talented Welsh midfielder. It appears that no one is safe.

I have it on good authority that Ramsey has been contacted by the CIA regarding Vladimir Putin and anti-Trump supporters have sent more than a dozen unanswered Emails, to inquire if he could find the net as quickly as possible before the season ends.

Prince Phillip has also made contact and offered the Arsenal player an OBE in return for a guarantee that he will promise to squander any opportunity that comes his way before the Royals head off for a scheduled break at Windsor castle.

The word is from those close to Ramsey, is that he has declined all incentives to concentrate on Arsenal’s remaining games and will only consider changing his mind if a knighthood becomes available.

Frankly Speaking though, loosing Hawking is quite a loss!
