Report: Arsenal receive triple injury boost ahead of Manchester United clash

Arsenal have received a triple injury boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium today, Football.London reports.

The Gunners recently returned to winning ways with a 3-1 win at Southampton and that extended their unbeaten run in the league to six games.

They are now scheduled to host the Red Devils and will be aiming to do the double over them for the first time since the 2006/07 campaign.

Ahead of the game, there have received a timely injury boost with Kieran Tierney, who was struggling with a calf problem, returning to regular training alongside his teammates.

Meanwhile, Thomas Partey and Emile Smith Rowe have also recovered from their respective knocks and are in contention to make the matchday squad.

However, it has been reported that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang won’t feature against the Red Devils after recently taking time out to take care of his ill mother.

The club-captain has missed the past two games for the club as a result and he has been reportedly ruled out from facing the Red Devils this evening.

Arsenal are currently ninth in the Premier League standings after 20 games with 30 points, seven adrift of the Champions League places.

The top four appears a distant target at the moment, but they can boost their prospects of doing so, should they get the better of the Red Devils.

The Gunners have a good recent record against the Red Devils in the league and are unbeaten in the last five meetings with two draws and three victories.
