Predicted Arsenal Line-up

Arsenal will host Southampton in the Premier League on Wednesday as they look to get back to winning ways. Who will make it into the starting line-up?

The North London club currently sit in 15th place in the League table and will be desperate to end their loosing streak. The visitors on the other hand, have been in impressive form this season and currently sit in fourth place. It will be an exciting battle and unless the Emirates club find their mojo back, it will be tough times once again.

There are a couple of selection concerns for Arteta as Granit Xhaka and Hector Bellerin are ruled out with suspension. To add to this, both Thomas Partey and David Luiz are unlikely to play(as per football london) as they continue to recover from their respective injuries.

The Emirates club will line-up in a 4-2-3-1 formation with Bernd Leno starting in goal. Ainsley Maitland-Niles will replace the suspended Bellerin at right-back. Rob Holding and Gabriel will start in the center of defence with Kieran Tierney taking his place on the left. The full backs will have their work cut out as they will be looked upon to provide support in both attack and defence.

Dani Ceballos will be back in the starting XI with Xhaka missing out due to a suspension. He will be partnered with Mohamed Elneny. The Spaniard is known for his quality on the ball and will be called upon to provide the cutting edge with his passing. Southampton are a team that is known for their pressing and the midfield will have to move the ball quickly to deal with that.

Nicolas Pepe will be back in the team after completing his suspension and will start on the right wing. Willian is more likely to play centrally and that would result in Alexandre Lacazette dropping to the bench. On the left wing, Bukayo Saka will have another opportunity to showcase his creative abilities.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will lead the attack and will want to get back to his scoring ways. Arsenal are currently languishing in the bottom half of the table and they can forget about finishing in the top-four, unless they start turning it around very soon.

Predicted Arsenal Line-up against Southampton(4-2-3-1):

Bernd Leno, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Rob Holding, Gabriel, Kieran Tierney, Mohamed Elneny, Dani Ceballos, Nicolas Pepe, Willian, Bukayo Saka, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
