Here are the Arsenal players to look out for at Euro 2016

Some of our star players will be busy representing their countries in the euros this summer. The likes of David Ospina and Alexis Sanchez are playing in the Copa America tournament with Columbia and Chile respectively and then there is the EURO’s.

Let’s take a look at the Arsenal players that are gonna be featuring for their respective countries in Euros and even though there are lots of them, there should’ve been more. So let’s take a rundown.

ENGLAND

  1. Jack Wilshere

He’s the only representative from Arsenal in England’s team and that’s very disappointing. At the start of the qualifying campaign, we had 5 arsenal players in the England team. Danny Welbeck, Kieran Gibbs, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshere. Even Wilshere got in by the skin of his teeth. He basically played only one game for Arsenal because of his injury. He got in just due to lack of creative players in midfield for England.

FRANCE

  1. Olivier Giroud
  2. Laurent Koscielny

Normally there are a lot of Arsenal players representing France in major tournaments. Both started their first match of the campaign and lasted full 90 minutes. Giroud scored the first goal of Euro 16. After getting booed by french fans in the friendlies before the Euros, He surely has done a great job in his first game of the Euros.

WALES

  1. Aaron Ramsey

Their first major tournament. Ramsey has a massive part to play with Gareth Bale alongside him. Not sure about his dodgy haircut. He didn’t have the greatest of Premier League season but has to improve going into Euros. He has a big part to play whether wales progress out of the group.

SWITZERLAND

  1. Granit Xhaka

Our new signing will be representing Switzerland in the Euros. Many people consider him to be the best player in that Swiss squad with Shaqiri. He’ll be playing against his brother Taulant as Switzerland faces Albania in their opener.

GERMANY

  1. Mesut Ozil

Sole representative this time from Arsenal in the Germany squad. He’ll play an important role if Germany has to win this cup and they are one of the favorites to do it.

SPAIN

  1. Hector Bellerin

Injuries again, Santi Cazorla the little Mozart missing the chance to represent Spain but Hector has been selected after an injury to Carvajal. Probably won’t start but will be a huge opportunity and a great experience.

CZECH-REPUBLIC

  1. Petr Cech

Last night Arsenal released Rosicky from Arsenal. Gem of a player, Captain of Czech Republic. That leaves Petr Cech. Very important part of the Arsenal and the Czech Republic. His performance behind the defenders will determine if Czechs come out of the group stage or not.

POLAND

  1. Wojciech Szczesny

Still an arsenal player. Played for Roma last season. Poland have many decent goalkeepers but he’s done well at Roma this season. Might just get a start. He’ll be up against Mesut Ozil as Germany and Poland are both in the same group.

Quite a few players from Arsenal to look out for. Giroud and Ozil to fight for the top honors with many other players. Good luck to every Arsenal player playing in the Euros. May you all have a great Euro and DO NOT COME BACK INJURED.
