Aubameyang drops worrying hint on Instagram after reported £300,000-a-week offer

We are into the transfer window and that means that more and more rumors will be dumped onto the fans by the media.

One such bit of information is that star forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is on his way to China as there is interest from the Chinese Super League.

According to reports in Times, the striker has received a £300,000-a-week offer from Chinese club Shanghai SIPG and the Gunners will face an uphill task in keeping him at the Emirates.

Now adding fuel to the fire is the fact that the striker has gone ahead and deleted his Instagram profile picture and bio from his profile. This has led many fans to push the panic button and think that this is an indication that he is indeed on his way out.

Aubameyang who was the top scorer for the North London club this season has been attracting serious attention from clubs across the world and there is strong interest from China.

And if reports about the Arsenal budget are to be believed, they will not have a lot of money to spend. This problem has worsened now that they are not going to be in the UEFA Champions League after losing the Europa League final 4-1 to Chelsea.

In a situation like this, it would seem fair that the Gunners might be thinking of adding to their funds and a big-money move for their striker could see the coffers getting boosted.

Aubameyang has been a vital member of the Arsenal squad ever since his move from Borussia Dortmund in January of 2018. He has shown that he is a deadly finisher and if Arsenal can improve the service around him, the chances are that he will end up scoring more than the 31 goals that he has got this season.

There is still some time left in the transfer window so a decision might be made only later on and we will have to wait and see what happens. What is clear is that this is going to be a big summer for the Gunner. Fans will be hoping that any decision that is made will be one that is beneficial to the club.

Arsenal fans can feel a sigh of relief given the fact that Aubameyang’s Twitter profile photo still has the player pictured in Gunners colors and the bio also has Arsenal mentioned in it.
