Arsenal have reportedly agreed personal terms with Romelu Lukaku about a potential move to the Emirates Stadium, according to reliable Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli.
Reports from the Mirror earlier this week stated that we had opened talks over a potential deal to sign Lukaku.
Lukaku, 23, is currently in France on national duty to try to win the European Championships, in helping his side to qualify for the knock-out round of the competition, he has netted two goals in all appearance for Belgium in the Euro 2016.
Belgium will go head-to-head with Portugal in the round of 16, who have failed to win a single match so far, despite hitting the net three times against Hungary.
Lukaku has his mind set on playing for a top club and if any of them come calling he is likely to move away from Everton. According to reports in Sky Sports, He said
“For me, things are going well at Everton right now. I can become top scorer of the Premier League. But, yes, I could be leaving the club in the summer.” He said in March.
Journalist Emanuele Giulianelli has confirmed that the Belgium international has now agreed terms ahead of a switch to the Emirate Stadium in the coming months.
Despite Chelsea pressing, Arsenal have agreed personal terms with Lukaku. An offer will be submitted.

We should probably not take this too serious as we will have to wait and see how much truth there is behind these reports, as there are so many rumors around these days, but the Lukaku move will be a great one.
Giulianelli who works for Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport also suggests that Chelsea are doing all they could to re-sign Lukaku but Arsenal are now set to offer a formal bid to Everton after coming to an agreement with the player.
With Lukaku known to being a Chelsea supporter, reports emerged few weeks back that the Stamford Bridge side had been odds on to re-sign their former forward, but it seems that isn’t the case now.
In recent weeks, Arsenal have failed in their bid to sign Alvaro Morata and Jamie Vardy and are expected to set their sights on other options, and may now have managed to catch the big-name striker fans have been requesting for a number of years.
The 23-year-old ace has the potential to become a world-class hit man and I personally think the Lukaku move will favor the North London outfit. He has fantastic finishing ability, strength, and vast experience in Premier League football could help the Gunners in lifting the title.
Lukaku had a decorated third season with Everton after netting 25 goals in all appearance for the Toffees. Is Lukaku capable to help the Gunners lift the title next season? Is he the best option available on the market? Is he the man to bring the Van Persie scoring abilities back to the Emirates Stadium?
