World champions Germany beat Ukraine 2-0 in their opening Group E game in Euro 2016 on Sunday.
Very very impressive performance by Germany. They definitely looked a proper team tonight and the victory too was the first by a two-goal margin in the tournament so far.
The World Cup holders definitely got a chance of winning the Euros. A brilliant performance by Shkodran Mustafi and team for their first game in the Euros.
But of course, we’re gonna focus on our boy Mesut Ozil.
Great performance by him. Toni Kroos was probably the guy who stole the show alomg with Khedira. The whole midfield of Germany was immense tonight but Mesut Ozil doing what we seen him doing him all season in at Arsenal.
Just controlling the game, running with the ball elegantly and his assist for the winning goal by Bastian Schweinsteiger was absolutely sublime.
Fantastic performance by Mesut Ozil. How any country would kill for this midfielder right now! All these very skillful players, great at carrying the ball forward and making football an art.
The Arsenal players so far at the tournament have all got off to a good start. Granit Xhaka named as MOTM for his performance by some of the pundits. Jack Wilshere getting some game time again.
Wojciech Szczesny had a really good game again Northern Ireland as he kept a clean sheet. Didn’t had to do too much but what he had to do, he did really well.
So Arsenal players at the Euro so far doing really good but great to see one of our main boys Mesut Ozil get off to a great start.
