Arsenal legend Thierry Henry who is part of the Belgium coaching setup at the Euros once again showcased his talent during training.
After spending some time in France and Canada as a manager, the former striker has returned to assist Roberto Martinez. The Frenchman’s influence can be seen on the Red Devils as their attack is firing on all cylinders.
Recently, a clip of Henry taking a free kick during training went viral as it was done with his weaker foot. The coach was celebrated by the players including Romelu Lukaku and Kevin De Bruyne. The Manchester City playmaker can be heard saying in the video:
“We try time after time and kick in a few. He stopped ten years ago and just kicks his first ball into the square. That guy is killing us while we have a game tomorrow. Can he possibly come in?”

The Belgians are considered as one of the favourites for the Euros as they are the number one ranked team in the world. Their attacking talent is quite envious as they have the aforementioned Lukaku and De Bruyne to go along with Eden Hazard.
Under Henry’s tutelage, they are doing what fans were expecting them to do. They are one of a handful of teams to have won all their games in the tournament so far. Having Henry back among the coaching staff would certainly have helped.
As one of the best forwards to ever play the game, the Frenchman knows how to get the ball in the back of the net. And as someone who has won the World Cup and the Euros, the Arsenal legend knows a thing or two about triumphing at this stage.
The Belgium team has flattered to deceive on occasion with results that betray their sheer talent. Perhaps this is the year the results start matching the team’s ability. Though Henry can’t play, as much as De Bruyne would have hoped for, he is performing an important job behind the scenes.
