Arsenal got their second consecutive win in the Premier League as they beat Burnley 1-0 on Saturday and one of the stars of the game was centre back Gabriel, who played a big role as the Gunners kept a clean sheet.

It is a pity that the north Londoners were not able to start the season with Gabriel. The encounters against Chelsea and Manchester City could have gone differently had the 23-year-old played. His quality shone on Saturday against one of the most physical teams in the league.
The partnership between the Brazilian and White is going to be the one that takes the club forward. They are the two best centre backs in the squad and have qualities that complement each other very well. That alone is going to make them Arteta’s preferred pair in the middle.
It was important for the Gunners to get this victory after the kind of start they had last month. With a hugely important clash against Tottenham coming up next week, it is essential for the team to build some momentum.
