David Baldwin, the agent of Aaron Ramsey, has dismissed reports linking the midfielder with a potential return to Arsenal.
The 30-year-old joined Juventus back in 2019 but has not been able to find his feet for the Serie A giants. The midfielder has picked up multiple niggles which hindered his regular playing time.
The Welshman managed only 13 starts in the league last season, scoring two goals and assisting four times. Following a disappointing couple of seasons with the Bianconeri, Ramsey has been heavily linked with a move away this summer and the north London club are rumoured to be one of the possible destinations.
However, the midfielder’s agent has dismissed those reports and expressed his frustration about the news. Commenting on a tweet, Baldwin said:
“I’m sorry but can you stop making things up please. There is not a shred of truth in your tweet.”

The agent posted another tweet and said:
“Then just to be clear, neither his tweet or the sources it came from are correct!”
The midfielder has two years remaining on his current contract and currently earns around £400,000-a-week. He would reportedly cost around £12m(Transfermarkt).
Arsenal Fever View:
Arsenal are looking to strengthen the midfield this summer and Aaron Ramsey could be a good addition for Mikel Arteta’s young squad. The midfielder’s return to the Emirates Stadium would certainly be filled with a lot of nostalgia.
However, from the club’s business point of view, this deal makes no sense. After allowing the 30-year-old to leave for free just two years ago, bringing him back by paying a transfer fee is not a shrewd pursuit.
Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta and Edu are looking for younger alternatives in midfield to overhaul the squad. Anderlecht’s Albert Sambi Lokonga and Leicester City’s James Maddison are being linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium.
However, with some experienced players like Granit Xhaka heading for the exits, Ramsey can be a good fit for the Emirates club. The Gunners have some talented youngsters and in order to help them reach their full potential, they will have to be partnered with some experienced campaigners.
