Arsenal are reportedly willing to offload Willian and the player is also looking to part ways with the club, as per journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The 33-year-old joined the Gunners for free last summer. The winger arrived at the Emirates Stadium on the back of an excellent campaign with Chelsea, scoring nine goals and notching up seven assists in 36 Premier League appearances. However, since arriving in north London, the former Shakhtar Donetsk man has gone completely under the boil.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the north London club are ready to sell the Brazilian international before the end of the transfer window. The journalist further stated that the winger is also keen on leaving the club and has been craving for an exit since May.
Romano also said that apart from Willian, Arsenal are also ready to listen to offers for Hector Bellerin and Lucas Torreira. The journalist said:
“Arsenal are still hopeful to find a solution for Willian. He wants to leave the club since May – Arsenal are looking for bids for Willian, Hector Bellerin, Lucas Torreira.”

Arsenal Fever View:
Signing Willian has turned out to be an awful decision from Mikel Arteta. On top of that, offering a huge financial package to a player in his 30’s was not a wise approach from Arsenal either.
Selling the 33-year-old will be the right decision for the north London club. However, it will not be easy to find a suitor who would want to match the winger’s financial demands.
Meanwhile, after failing to bring success with short fixes, Arteta has now opted to go for young talents with high potential. The Spanish boss has already signed Ben White, Sambi Lokonga and Nuno Tavares in this transfer window and the Gunners are also closing in on deals for Martin Odegaard and Aaron Ramsdale.
Having started the season with a disappointing defeat to Brentford, the Emirates club will be looking to make amends in their next game against Chelsea. After achieving the league double last season, Arteta’s men will be looking to continue their winning run against the Blues.
