As per a report from Italian publication Gianluca DiMarzio, Arsenal are interested in signing Tammy Abraham from Chelsea.
The Englishman has found chances to be limited since the arrival of Timo Werner and Chelsea’s move for Romelu Lukaku will put him in quite a fix. This has led to the striker being linked with a host of clubs.
DiMarzio state that Abraham is interested in switching over to the Emirates and the Gunners would go for him if they could sell Alexandre Lacazette. The forward is also wanted by Jose Mourinho at Roma who is keen on him to replace the outgoing Edin Dzeko.
The report states that Atalanta are also interested in the England international, but the 23-year-old would prefer a move to the Emirates club. Chelsea are looking for a fee in the region of £34m but they would be willing to accept a structured payment.
This news was not welcomed by the Gunners fans who are not happy with the direction that the club are heading in. They took to Twitter to express their dissatisfaction and here are some of the best reactions:

Our business is becoming a joke. Tammy Abraham does not improve us, why are we going for someone who can’t even get in the Chelsea team! 😡

We are new Fulham. Might aswell just keep Eddie Eddie up front as Tammy no better.

Abraham is not really upgrade on what we have. It’s like Welbeck all over again. We should be signing players for sake of it. Also AM, RB, DM/CM are more priority than ST imo. Creativity & midfield are bigger issues than Finishing. At least target 20+ goals ST which Abraham ain’t

Arsenal Fever View
If Lacazette were to depart, it would leave the north Londoners a bit short in the striking department and a move for Abraham does make sense. But with not much time left in the transfer window, it will be tough for the club to make the sales they want.
As for the forward, there is a lot of potential in the player, and he has shown the skills necessary during loan spells in the Championship. Even a couple of seasons ago, the 23-year-old was one of the leading scorers for the Blues.
The Premier League season starts in a few days, and it is important for the Gunners to have their squad ready for the campaign. Yes, getting deals done is a bit complicated but the sooner they get the players they want, the better it is.
Arsenal have a tough start to the new season and they need a strong squad to compete with the rest. If they can sell Lacazette and sign Abraham, that would be a good bit of business and one that can pay huge dividends.
