According to a report from Corriere Dello Sport(via Laroma24), Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka wants to leave the club this summer.
The Swiss international has been an important member of the Gunners setup for the past five years. But with reports linking him with a move to Roma, managed by Jose Mourinho, the midfielder could be on his way out.
Corriere Dello Sport claims that the 28-year-old feels that his time in north London is over and has told his national teammates that he already feels like a Roma player. The midfielder will ask Arsenal executives for a transfer after the Euros.
The report further states that a deal has not been agreed yet as the clubs still negotiate on the price. The Gunners are looking for something in the region of €20m but Roma are willing to part with only €15m.
Corriere Dello Sport further reveal that the transfer will now depend on the Swiss midfielder and Xhaka remains a priority for the Italian giants and their new manager.

It is important for the north Londoners to stand firm on their demands. The Swiss captain remains a vital player and can certainly contribute if he were to stay in England.
Plus, the difference between what Roma is offering and what Arsenal want can be bridged quite quickly, but the situation might be a bit more complicated as the midfielder is currently on national duty at the Euros.
For the Gunners, getting the deal sorted out as soon as possible is a good thing. It will help them in their pursuit of other targets. Should Xhaka leave, a good enough replacement will be needed at the Emirates.
Despite impressing in his time with the Gunners, the club could benefit from the midfielder’s departure. They might look to go in a different direction with the profile of the player they have in central midfield. Arsenal need to sell to fund their transfer activity but they should do it for a price they deem fit.
