Aaron Ramsey has had a stellar season for Arsenal. Recently the Welsh Midfielder was announced to have won both Arsenal Player of the season and Arsenal Goal of the Season in a clear showing of quality.
The creative midfielder has been linked with a move away from the club for several seasons now, with Barcelona supposedly wanting to buy the ex-Cardiff City player for an estimated £40-£50m for over 2 seasons now.
Now Tuttosport, Juventus’ local newspaper report that Aaron Ramsey moving to Italian champions Juventus’ likelihood sits at 40%.
Although many are questioning the way that number was reached, many fans are fearful the box-to-box midfielder may depart the club amid rumours not only linking the player to Juventus but also teams such a Liverpool and Barcelona.
Creating 21 goals for the Gunners through 12 goals and 9 assists, Ramsey has been Arsenal’s leader in goals created this season and his departure would certainly leave a big gap in the team’s creative capabilities.
With Arsenal being linked to Players such as Cengiz Under and Jean Michael Seri, Ramsey’s creative talent may already have replacements lined up.
The Welsh 27 year-old has played for Arsenal since being signed from Cardiff city as a talented youth prospect at the age of 17 and has made himself a fan-favourite in his long time at Arsenal.
Being mentored and raised as a player by Arsene Wenger, it seems more likely than ever that this is the time that Aaron Ramsey will depart Arsenal, but I’m sure that all Arsenal fans agree that this would be a huge shame for the Gunners.
With Mesut Ozil’s inconsistent season Ramsey has sometimes been seen as the sole source of creativity in the Arsenal midfield and it would be near impossible to find a player as brilliant as Ramsey but also a player that knows how Arsenal play inside and out.
Arsenal’s trademark fast paced, possession-based football seems a second nature for Aaron Ramsey, with beautiful football seeming to ooze out of the midfielder as he plays.
