Arsenal face-off against CSKA Moscow in the second leg of their Europa League quarter-final tie on Thursday night.
The Gunners are in a strong position to qualify for the semi finals after a 4-1 win at the Emirates Stadium, but they still need to maintain their focus at the VEB Arena, where they are likely to witness a hostile atmosphere from the fans.
Formation: 4-2-3-1
Lineup:
Goalkeeper:
Petr Cech featured in the previous European outing versus CSKA, and it is likely to be the case on Thursday, considering David Ospina is still recovering from a knee problem. The 35-year-old will hope for better luck between the sticks, having kept just a single clean sheet in 2018.
Defence:
Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal are likely to slot into their regular positions on the right and left side of the backline and skipper Laurent Koscielny should be fancied to partner Shkodran Mustafi in the central defence.
Midfield:
Granit Xhaka has been the first-choice pick for Arsene Wenger when it comes to the midfield department, and the Swiss has featured in more games for the Gunners than any other player this term. Alongside him, Jack Wilshere should get the nod with the Englishman likely to perform the tough-tackling duties.
Attack:
Ahead of the midfield duo, we are fancying Aaron Ramsey to start in an attacking midfield position with Danny Welbeck and Mesut Ozil slotting into the left and right positions respectively. Upfront, Alexandre Lacazette is expected to lead the line after scoring three goals in less than 180 minutes of action since his injury comeback.
