Arsenal are reportedly closing in on their third signing of the winter transfer window with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang spotted arriving at the Dortmund airport ahead of his proposed move to the Emirates.
Earlier yesterday, the Gunners agreed on a club-record £55m for the Gabon international, but Borussia Dortmund were said to be stalling on the move, unless they find a suitable replacement before the transfer deadline.
However, according to The Express, the 28-year-old appears to be on the cusp of sealing his switch to the Gunners as he is likely to complete the necessary formalities once he arrives in London in the next couple of hours.

It is yet to be seen whether Olivier Giroud will go the other way in any kind of deal, but Aubameyang is likely to becomes the club’s highest earner, should the move go as planned between both parties.
With the departure of Alexis Sanchez, the club had to come up with a strong response in the transfer market, and they appear to have rightly done so with the signing of Aubameyang, who is a genuine goalscorer upfront.
Nevertheless, Arsene Wenger may need to sort out his tactics to accommodate both Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette in the starting lineup with the former preferring long balls towards him rather than building up play through the attack.
Arsenal are at the Liberty Stadium to face Swansea City tonight, where they will be searching for their first victory on their travels since the turn of the year.
