Arsenal will seek to shrug off their Champions League disappointment when they take on fifth-tier Lincoln City in the FA quarter-final on Saturday evening.
The Gunners fell to an embarrassing 10-2 aggregate defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich, and this ended their European hopes in the last 16 for the seventh season running.
Arsene Wenger is due to make a couple of changes to his starting lineup versus The Imps, but he will nevertheless set up a side which will dominate proceedings against their lower league counterparts.
Formation: 4-3-3
Wenger played Granit Xhaka in a deeper role against Bayern Munich in midweek, and he could stick with a similar formation for the FA Cup clash.
Lineup:
David Ospina has been the first-choice goalkeeper in both the Cup and the Champions League. He will definitely start between the sticks despite the recent results in Europe.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles will probably start on the right side of the defence with Kieran Gibbs on the left while Rob Holding and skipper Laurent Koscielny could share the centre-back duties.
Xhaka had impressed for the Gunners prior to Koscielny’s sending off in midweek, and he could be backed to start alongside Aaron Ramsey and Oxlade-Chamberlain in the heart of the midfield.
Theo Walcott netted his 100th Gunners goal during the previous Cup outing against Sutton United, and he could earn another run in the centre-forward position.
Lucas Perez has been rather unlucky under Arsene Wenger this season, and we back him to start on the left side of the attack with the young Jeff Rene-Adelaide settling on the right wing.
Prediction:
Arsenal will come up with a reaction following the Bayern humiliation, and this may well end Lincoln’s magical run in the Cup. Back the Gunners to win by a three-goal margin.
