Liverpool vs Arsenal: Preview, Team News and Predicted Line-up

Arsenal vs LiverpoolArsenal will look to overcome their big game blues when they travel to Anfield on Saturday to face Liverpool, as they look to close in ona top four place.

The Gunners were expected to challenge for League title this season, but a terrible start means that the championship dreams already look to be over. The North London club currently sit in seventh place in the  League table, but a win tomorrow will see us move back up to sixth and just two points off fourth-placed West Ham.

Despite the injuries and poor start to the season, we have now found  a bit of form in the past few weeks after two consecutive victories against Galatasaray and Newcastle United.

After a disappointing start to the season, Liverpool find themselves in 11th place which is a far cry from their impressive performances from last season. It would be interesting to see how Sanchez performs after completing a £32 million move from Barcelona, despite strenuous attempts by Liverpool to fill the void left by Suarez.

Arteta is still out, so Flamini will continue to cover for the defence. Chamberlain aggravated a groin injury against Newcastle, but is expected to start the game after passing a late fitness test.

Walcott has finally returned from a long injury layoff and is expected to take part in the game in some capacity. Nacho Monreal has also returned from injury and will start from the bench. Ramsey is out for the rest of the year so Cazorla will continue to shoulder the responsibility of creating the chances for our attacking trio of Alexis, Welbeck and Giroud.

Liverpool forward Mario Balotelli will miss the fixture as he serves a one-match ban for posting a controversial image on his Instagram account. The Anfield are awaiting a late assessment on defender Dejan Lovren’s groin injury after being forced off during Wednesday’s Capital One Cup quarter-final win over Bournemouth.
