Arsenal are ready to go head-to-head with Liverpool and Juventus in the race to sign Bayern Munich outcast Mario Gotze, according to reports in Germany. The midfielder looks certain to be on his way out of the German club and a number of interested clubs are monitoring his situation.

The report in German outlet Suddeutsche Zeitung has it that the midfielder has been told on phone by in coming manager Carlo Ancelotti that he does not feature in his plans and should start considering his future at the club.

Despite the fact that the 23-year-old has failed to impress departing boss Pep Guardiola; the Spaniard has overlooked him. Gotze has played full match just twice this season and has not started Champions League match since September. The arrival of Renato Sanches is all but a confirmation that the German international time is up at the Allianz Arena.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has reportedly approached the Bavarians for the German World Cup winner who was his player during their together at Borussia Dortmund while Arsenal and Juventus have has talks with his agents instead.

Arsene Wenger is keen to make a statement in the transfer market this summer after coming serious criticism for failing to win the Premier League this season. The Frenchman has set the major rebuilding of the squad his main priority.

The team is set to experience major clear out this summer and suitable additions are expected. The North London club are in locked talks with Borussia Monchengladbach for the signature of Granit Xhaka while plans are also in top gear to sign Juventus Alvaro Morata and Borussia Dortmund Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Gotze scored the goal that won Germany the World Cup in 2014. He would be an ideal addition to the midfield, bringing in the much-needed attack and quality to the area.

The midfielder still has a year left on his contract at the Allianz Arena. He cost Bayern €37 million from Borussia Dortmund in 2013 but the Bundesliga champion will reportedly listen to offers in the region of €20 million for Gotze.

From my perspective, People need consider the fact that the one thing Gotze will bring is possession and a also wonderful ball control of ball control.
