A section of the Arsenal fans have been left surprised with the return of Danny Welbeck to first-team training ahead of the final Premier League game of the season.
The England international has been sidelined since November last year with a broken ankle and it had been predicted that he may leave the Gunners this summer without making a comeback.
However, ahead of the final league game against Burnley, some supporters have been left surprised with the marksman participating in full training alongside his teammates.

Welbeck is back training with the first. I thought we released him. We need all the bodies we can get for the final. pic.twitter.com/NYTbq7HUoL

With Welbeck’s return to full training, there is a good chance that he could feature against the Clarets on Sunday, though Emery may not necessarily play him from the off.
The Gunners are currently three points behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur in the standings and their prospects of making the final Champions League spot is unlikely, barring a miracle.
Emery’s side are presently in need of an eight-goal swing in their favour combined with a Spurs defeat, but that appears a hugely improbable task regardless of the team on display.
Still, the manager will be hoping to end the league season on a high by beating the Clarets, considering that would ensure that they would not slip down to sixth behind Manchester United.
Emery has refused to confirm whether he would significant rotate his squad for the Burnley game but there won’t be any surprises, should the likes of Laurent Koscielny and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang drop to the bench.
