This goes to show the levels of excitement that fans have at the moment for the kits that will be coming out next season. Adidas have already had an association with the North London club with a lot of classics being produced particularly in the early 90s.
And the design that Adidas have gone for is also going to pay a bit of homage to their previous association by giving the kit a retro touch.
This touch has been especially well received by a lot of fans and it is nice to see all of them be excited about it. Apart from being successful on an aesthetic front, the Adidas deal will also be important for the club in terms of economics.
At a reported value of £60 million per season(as per Mirror), it is going to be the third biggest deal in football only behind Manchester United and Barcelona. Getting this kind of money is going to be highly valuable for a club like the Gunners if they are to compete with the biggest teams out there.
The world of football is moving more and more towards being money oriented and with the owner of the Gunners refusing to pump in a significant amount, deals such as this will propel the club forward.
The next season is going to be important for the future of the team and fans will be hoping that Arsenal can once again return to the top tier. It promises to be an exciting period and fans will be hoping that it brings a lot of success.
