Serie A outfit Lazio are said to hold an interest in signing Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey with Sergej Milinkovic-Savic being tipped for a big-money move away from the Stadio Olimpico.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Rome-based club have placed a £132m price tag on the head of Milinkovic-Savic and they are anticipating Real Madrid to trigger the valuation during the summer transfer window.
In this case, Simone Inzaghi’s side would have the luxury of relaxing their wage structure as well as spending significant fees on new recruits and Ramsey has been noted as one of their key targets.
The Welshman presently has just over a year left on his existing deal with the Gunners and Lazio are seemingly looking to take advantage over any uncertainty regarding his future at the Emirates.
Despite this, there is a strong sense of approval around the club that Ramsey will indeed pen an extension and the agreement could be sorted out once he returns to pre-season training.
Ramsey has already admitted his excitement over working under the guidance of new boss Unai Emery and barring any differences at the beginning, he should most probably commit his future to the club.
Emery has expressed a keen interest in strengthening the centre of the park this summer and the club are supposedly close to recruit Lucas Torreira from Sampdoria.
Besides this, the Spanish tactician is also said to be after Ever Banega with whom he worked at Sevilla and Valencia and the Argentine could potentially be available for a bargain price of around £12m.
