Former Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has issued a welcome note to Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez to join him in China, as per reports in the Sun.
The 27-year-old’s, whose current contract with the North London club will expire in the summer of 2018 has been in brilliant form this season scoring 14 times(as per WhoScored.com) for the Gunners this season.
Earlier in the week, reports from Daily Mail stated that negotiations between the club and the player remain at an impasse after the North London club’s latest offer of £9.3 million a year, has reportedly been rejected by Sanchez, who is holding out for a £1 million a month deal.
The latest report in the Sun claims that current Hebei China Fortune boss is ready to make the Chilean the highest earning player in the world with a wage offer of around £500,000-a-week.
Manuel Pellegrini has urged the Chilean forward to move to China and join the ‘great project that is building there’. According to Sun, he said:
If Alexis wants to come, we have a club for him right now. He can come to join us in China immediately.

Alexis has always done things the right way. Chinese football is growing every day and the interest in going there is increasing all the time.
After moving up top this season, Sanchez has set a blistering tone for the Gunners. His work rate has allowed the team to press higher up the pitch, while his subtle movements and brilliant technical ability has helped create space for Mesut Ozil, who is enjoying his best goalscoring season in an Arsenal shirt, too.
Needless to say, it’s key Arsenal keep hold of the player. Sanchez has evolved into a genuine world-class talent this term, and while the Gunners will feel they are offering a sizeable package to the player, it doesn’t compare to some of the sums the forward could earn elsewhere.
It is unlikely he would want to remove himself from the limelight of European football to move to China. Even with the offered wages, he will miss the competitiveness of playing the game which he always thrives in. However, before we sing our hearts out to Sanchez to sign that thing, the money on offer must be equitable to the shift he brings.
