A section of the Arsenal fans have praised the performance of Laurent Koscielny during the second leg of the club’s Europa League quarter-final tie against Napoli.
The north London side went into the game with a handy 2-0 advantage from the home leg, but they needed to be wary of a reaction from the Naples outfit.
However, they eventually sealed a comfortable victory in the end with Alexandre Lacazette popping up with the crucial away goal to calm the nerves, and a few supporters were particularly impressed with the showing of Koscielny.
Koscielny did not have the best of beginnings under Unai Emery after returning from a long-term Achilles problem, but his showing has improved on game-by-game basis through the backend of the season.
The defence has often regarded as the weak point under the guidance of Emery this term but there has been certain improvement in this facet of late with six clean sheets in the last seven matches.
Most of those have resulted with skipper Koscielny at the heart of the backline and a few fans expressed their appreciation for the Frenchman’s performance in the aftermath of the club’s qualification to the Europa League semi-finals.

Arsenal shift their attention to Premier League action for the weekend where they are scheduled to face London counterparts Crystal Palace in their second last home game of the seasoin.
Emery’s side are currently occupying the fourth spot in the standings on just goal difference, but they can potentially propel to the third place with a win, should Tottenham Hotspur drop points in Saturday’s early kick-off versus Manchester City.
Koscielny will have another job on his hands in the central defensive department, but he won’t be accompanied by Sokratis with the Greek serving the final game of his domestic suspension after accumulating 10 yellow cards.
