As per multiple reports coming from Italy, Arsenal have submitted an official offer to Fiorentina for Dusan Vlahovic but it won’t be easy to pull off the signing.
The 21-year-old has exploded onto the scene last season with his prolific goal scoring. He has emerged as a target for the Gunners, who are looking at the Serbian to become their long-term leader in attack.
Italian outlet La Stampa via Firenze Viola claim that Fiorentina officials Rocco Commisso and Joe Barone are not happy with the fact that the striker hasn’t renewed his contract and wanted a move imminently.
The report further claims that the striker has plenty of interest and Arsenal have already launched an official offer in the range of €60-70m. However, it won’t be easy to sign the player given the high commissions his agents are demanding.
Corriere Della Sera have already claimed a few days back that the Florence club are willing to let go of their star should the right kind of offer come in. And reportedly, the north London club made a €60m offer with the addition of Lucas Torreira who is valued at €15m, which is considered to be the most attractive.
Arsenal Fever View:
It would be a huge statement of intent if the north Londoners can capture the Serbia international. They are in a good position with regards to finishing in the top four and an addition of this kind of quality could prove to be pivotal.
It is clear that the Italian club would be willing to cash in on their star which is good news for the Emirates side. It shows that there is a price that can be put on the forward and if the English giants match it, they will have their man.
The 21-year-old is just the kind of forward that the Gunners need as he is good at linking up play and finding the back of the net. Mikel Arteta would be excited to potentially have a talent as exciting as the Serb.
it is looking like Arsenal have gained the upper hand in bringing Vlahovic over to London. The deal might take a little more time to get completed but the signs are promising at the moment.
