A section of Arsenal fans have expressed their delight over the performance of goalkeeper Bernd Leno against Manchester United last night.
The Gunners registered a goalless Premier League draw against the Red Devils at the Emirates Stadium and that saw their unbeaten streak in the top-flight extend to seven games.
Leno had been in fine form prior to the match with clean sheets in five of the previous six league games. He added another shut-out to his tally after a stunning fingertip save in the top right corner to deny Fred from finding the back of the net.
Prior to the interval, the German showed good composure to stay on his feet when Marcus Rashford had a clear-cut chance before his teammates arrived and blocked the attacker’s path to goal.
This has pleased some of the Gunners fans on Twitter and here are few reactions following the goalless stalemate.
Still can't believe Leno isn't rated amongst the top 3 keepers in the league. Extremely underrated. pic.twitter.com/UiMYLdp6gr

Bernd Leno’s save from Fred in the first half really didn’t get the credit it deserved. Today takes the German to 5 clean sheets in 7 games. He also boasts the second best defensive record in the Premier League this season. We’re lucky to have him.

The 28-year-old has now kept eight clean sheets in the Premier League season and only Emiliano Martinez of Aston Villa and Ederson of Manchester City have managed more.
The Gunners were slightly fortuitous against the Red Devils with Edinson Cavani missing a couple of golden opportunities to bag the winning goal.
However, at the end of the day, it was a point well earned, considering the absence of key players such as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Bukayo Saka and Kieran Tierney.
The north London giants will return to Premier League action on Tuesday night with an away trip to the Molineux Stadium to face Wolverhampton Wanderers.
