In all honesty and fairness, I believe we need to give a big shout out, fist bump or chest-pump to all Arsenal fans.
I have personally had a tough week so far and I can’t help but wonder if supporting Arsenal is the cause of my unhappiness. It is impossible to imagine rival fans doing the same as they seem to be achieving more with a less equipped team than ours.
Sometimes I just imagine playing against the current crop of Arsenal players we have and the truth is it sends shivers down my spine. So how is it that teams like Burnley, Watford, Preston. ….etc can not only think but actually bully us off the park in games?
It is almost as if Arsenal fans are all gifted with natural shock-absorbers especially those of the Wenger-era. Our players seem resolved to just rolling over whenever things don’t go their way. The chairman of this committee has to be Mesut Özil.
He is one Arsenal player that is truly lucky technology hasn’t improved to the point where one can knock a player through the tv screen. The dude would probably have his titanium helmet dented all over.
However, after the Saturday game, he seemed pretty upset with Sanchez and Monreal for not acknowledging the traveling fans. Be that as it may, I’d prefer some acknowledgment on the pitch during the game instead.
Bellerin has returned to training after being taken off during the Chelsea game. It remains to be seen whether we will endure another game with Gabriel at right back according to the Sun.
People say the “Wenger Out” section of fans are back but I think they have always been around. We just seemed to care more about the positives when we didn’t notice them.
My 2 cents is that only Wenger will determine when he will call it quits with Arsenal as he seems to be delivering steadily and proficiently what the board is truly after. Good luck if you still believe that is the success on the pitch.
I guess the saying:
You die a hero or live long enough to become a villain
-From Dark Knight
holds true with Le Professeur. Anyway, still trying to shake off the douchy-feeling and prepare for the visit of in-form Hull City to the Emirates.
In other news, Lucas Perez shares his memories from his first Champions league career start as the knockout phase draws close where we take on Bayern Munich.
Till the next thought. ….COYG!
