Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to vent out their frustration after the Gunners were thrashed by Liverpool at Anfield.
In one of the worst displays in many years, the Emirates club were truly dismantled by a blistering Liverpool side. The team lacked desire and the result looked evident from the kickoff.
Right from the team selection to the player performances, nothing really worked for the North London club. They just looked like a bunch of mediocre players assembled to play some charity game.
There was no team work and not even a single player had his mind on the game as all of them were sloppy from the first whistle to the last.
It is truly shocking that a team which consists of world class talents doesn’t have a shot on target in the whole 90 minutes. The defence was so vulnerable that even a school boy could have scored against us on the counter.
Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and substitute Daniel Sturridge found the back of the net for Liverpool as they time and again breached the Gunners defence on the counter attacks.
Here are some of the Twitter reactions from Arsenal Fans:
Arsenal really should give refunds to the travelling away support after that performance.

Just go, Wenger.
You're a sad, tired, stubborn old man destroying your legacy & our club. #afc— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) August 27, 2017

This is not my Arsenal. Bring back those winning days, the attacking football I used to watch believing we will absolutely win any game.

Arsenal are now placed 16th in the Premier League points table with 3 points from 3 games.
It looks like the fans are in for yet another agonizingly long season. Wenger also needs to have a real good look at himself after the defeat.
It’s high time for Arsenal to get back in the transfer market and make some immediate marquee signings.
