Marseille will reportedly initiate transfer talks with Arsenal about the permanent departure of William Saliba, as per a report from Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur.
The 20-year-old joined the north London club back in 2019 from Ligue1 outfit Saint-Etienne and was immediately sent back on loan to Les Verts. The defender has had three loan spells in the French top-flight since signing for the Emirates club but hasn’t made a single appearance for the Premier League giants.
According to the journalist, Marseille are keen on making William Saliba’s loan spell permanent after being impressed by the youngster’s display so far this season. This is what he had to say:

The Gunners’ sporting director Edu has previously praised the defender and is aware of their highly-rated centre-back’s talent. So, the north Londoners might not want to lose the youngster without affording him an opportunity to showcase his talent.
