Arsenal’s Premier League fixtures for the 2021/22 season have been announced. The Gunners go into the new season on the back of a disappointing campaign and will be looking to secure a top-four spot for the first time since 2016.
August-October:
The north Londoners kick off proceedings with an away game against the newly promoted Brentford. They have the daunting task of facing Champions League winners Chelsea and Premier League champions Manchester City in the next two matches. The mouth-watering north London derby comes soon after as Mikel Arteta’s men welcome Tottenham to the Emirates on September 25th. They have a fixture packed October as they play four games with an away trip to Leicester City being the final game of the month.

November-January:
November is a tough month for the Gunners as they travel to Merseyside to take on Liverpool. In just a space of ten days, another heavyweight clash awaits them as they face Premier League runner-up Manchester United. The festival period is usually congested and that is the case this year too. Arsenal play six games in a span of 24 days in this period. Their boxing day fixture is at newly promoted Norwich and they host Manchester City on New Year’s Day. The return fixture of the north London derby is on January 25th.

The Emirates club travel to West London to play Chelsea on 12th February followed by a couple of home games against Brentford and Liverpool. March comprises of Leicester home in between away clashes with Watford and Aston Villa. They host Manchester United on 23rd April. The last three games of the season look kind on paper as Arteta and co take on Leeds United, Newcastle United, and Everton with the clash against the Toffees being the last game of the season.

Arsenal have missed out on European qualification resulting in the absence of European football in the Emirates for the first time in 25 years.
