Arsenal continued their fine start to the season with a win over Leicester City and now travel to Bournemouth this weekend, so let’s look at the predicted lineup.
Powered by a double from new signing Gabriel Jesus, the Gunners emerged victorious against the Foxes. The manager would want a similar display from his boys, as they look to make it three wins in a row.
Aaron Ramsdale starts in goal and will be on the lookout for his second clean sheet this season. The combination of Ben White and Alex Zinchenko has proven to be very effective and that is likely to remain unchanged.
The same can be said of the centre-back pairing of William Saliba and Gabriel who have been impressive in the first two games. They too would be keen on getting a clean sheet and not let the Cherries score.
In midfield, there are not going to be many changes with Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka in the centre with them swapping positions every now and then. They will help the others be a little more proactive which will put pressure on the hosts.
Bukayo Saka might not have scored yet, but he has had a good start to the season. The combination play of the youngster along with Martin Odegaard helps the north Londoners be more effective when attacking through the wings. Along with the new captain, Gabriel Martinelli who has already scored twice will be looking to further push the Bournemouth defence.
Leading everything is Brazilian Gabriel Jesus who got off the mark in some style last Saturday. He could have scored more as the striker’s play was that good and it helped give the attack a focal point.
Arsenal know that they need to collect points wherever possible as that can make a huge difference at the end of the season and a visit to Dean Court is a great chance to notch another win on the board. The team looks to be in good shape, the players are clicking, and three points will be expected.
