According to The Athletic, the north Londoners are keen on securing the youngster’s future. They are prepared to offer an improved contract to reflect his rising prominence at the club.

Arsenal Fever View:
The England international has become one of the first names on the team sheet under Arteta. He wields significant influence on the team and has single-handedly won a number of games for the Gunners.
Saka did sign a new four-year contract in 2020. He currently earns around £30k-per-week, like his fellow academy graduate Emile Smith Rowe. Although his contract does not expire for another two years, the Emirates club are prepared to reward him with a new contract befitting his status at the club.
The Hale End graduate has been working wonders from the right flank. Retaining him for the future would be a massive statement of intent from the club. The 20-year-old is a Gunner through and through. He shares a special bond with the players and fans alike. So, it is only a matter of time before he signs a new contract at the club.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are inching closer towards a return to Champions League football. They go into the international break occupying the top-four spot with a game in hand.
