It is international week and one of the Arsenal players to make his mark was Emile Smith Rowe, who was playing for the England U-21 team.
The midfielder has quickly established himself as a key component of the Gunners setup since making his breakthrough in December 2020. Since then, the youngster has gone on to earn himself a new contract along with the prestigious No.10 shirt.
And the 21-year-old has begun the season in good form which included an excellent performance in the win over Tottenham. Smith Rowe was selected for the national side and has continued that good run of form.
The midfielder played a key role in guiding England to a 1-0 win over Andorra. Running onto a pass from Curtis Jones, the playmaker showed his speed and composure to slot the ball into the net.

Arsenal Fever View:
Smith Rowe has managed to become an integral part of the north Londoners set up and that is an impressive task for a youngster. His ability to combine with others and progress the play has proven to be a boon for Mikel Arteta.
The next step for the 21-year-old is to make it to the senior England team like his club teammate and friend Bukayo Saka. It is also a testament to the Gunners academy that they have been able to produce such incredible talent who are playing an important part at both club and international level.
Now, the challenge for Arteta and his star is to keep up the form throughout the season and help the north Londoners finish higher up the table. With such a talented young core at the Emirates, the aim should be to do better than the previous two seasons.
Smith Rowe can use the momentum gained from his international experience to further improve his Arsenal career. Adding more facets to his game will make the playmaker a more rounded threat and one that is sure to benefit the Gunners even more.
