As per the report in Daily Mail, Arsenal star Kieran Tierney has reduced his holiday in order to get back to pre-season training and fans are delighted with the defender’s commitment.
The north London club bought the 24-year-old back in 2019 and the former Celtic man quickly became a fan favourite for his work ethic. He was one of the few standout performers for the Emirates club last season, scoring two goals and notching up three assists in 38 appearances in all competitions.
The Scotland international was involved in the European Championship with the national squad. The Tartan Army qualified for a major tournament for the first time since 1998. The defender missed the first game against the Czech Republic due to a minor injury before participating in the next two fixtures.
The report in Daily Mail claims that Kieran Tierney has abated his holiday to get back to the pre-season tour at his homeland. Players generally get four weeks off to recover, following the involvement in international tournaments but the defender decided to take only three weeks break. After returning to training, the defender spent few minutes in the gym before returning to the grass for solo sessions.
The Gunners fans are yet again spellbound by his commitment and praised the youngster. Here are some of the best tweets:

Arsenal Fever View:
Kieran Tierney’s decision is a delight for Arsenal fans but it might not be as good as it looks. Following a congested and draining season, players need proper rest and recovery to recharge their batteries and go again for a whole season.
Without necessary time off, it can cause muscle fatigue in the latter stages of the next season. Most importantly, the 24-year-old suffered quite a few injury setbacks during his time at the Emirates Stadium and the north Londoners would not want to experience another injury afflicted season for their star man.
On the other hand, following the arrival of the new signing Nuno Tavares, the Scotsman might be feeling the pressure of the competition and wanting to waste no time. The healthy competition will benefit the north London club. Nevertheless, Tierney should not rush the proceedings as he is the number one choice at left-back. His decision might be extremely beneficial for Arsenal or it might not, only time will tell.
