Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Pablo Mari will certainly leave Arsenal this summer, with transfer offers from two Serie A clubs.
The defender moved to the Gunners on a season-long loan in 2020 before joining them on a permanent deal in the next season. He has managed to make just 22 appearances during his time in north London and was shipped out on loan to Udinese for the latter half of the last campaign.
Fabrizio Romano has reported that the Emirates club have received an offer from Italian club Hellas Verona to sign the 28-year-old. He has also attracted interest from other clubs, one of them being Monza.
The newly promoted side are also keen on signing the defender. They have offered a loan deal which includes an obligation to buy at the end of this season if they manage to stay in top-flight football next year. The journalist believes Mari will ‘100%’ leave Arsenal in this transfer window.

Arsenal Fever View:
The Gunners kicked off the new campaign with a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace on Friday. One of the players that produced an impressive display was William Saliba. After three successive loan spells, he finally made his debut for the north Londoners.
The 21-year-old looked solid defensively for the entire duration of the game and won the man of the match award. With Ben White, Gabriel Magalhaes, and Rob Holding also in the ranks, Mari is surplus to requirements.
The Spaniard never really settled into the squad. Injuries and fitness problems have significantly halted his progress at the club. Parting ways seems to be a sensible decision for both parties.
The north Londoners have splashed the cash in the transfer market to bolster the squad. And on paper, it certainly looks like they have done that. They are back in action in seven days as they host Leicester City on Saturday. Mikel Arteta and his men will be determined to carry the momentum and secure all three points against the Foxes in front of the Emirates crowd.
