Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will reportedly hold talks over his Gunners future during a meeting with manager Arsene Wenger and chief executive Ivan Gazidis this week.
The England international has just 10 months left on his present Emirates deal, and he would be free to speak with potential suitors abroad at the turn of the year.
According to Sky Sports News, the discussions are due to take place on Thursday with Oxlade-Chamberlain likely to express his desire to leave the Emirates.
The 24-year-old has got the opportunity to feature at wing-back on a regular basis since the tail-end of the previous campaign, but his chances still remain limited in his preferred midfield role.
Meanwhile, a report from The Telegraph suggests that the Ox is not in any hurry to make a decision on his future despite receiving a contract offer worth more than £100,000-a-week.
The versatile attacker is the subject of interest from both Chelsea and Liverpool, and he will probably wait for an approach from either during the final stages of the transfer window.
Should Arsene Wenger maintain his stance of not selling, Oxlade-Chamberlain may not force his way out of the club as he would be in a strong position to negotiate a wage package on a free next summer.
Wenger recently sold Gabriel to Valencia in a deal worth £10m. He has since trimmed his first-team squad further with both Carl Jenkinson and Cohen Bramall making their moves to Birmingham City on season-long loan deals.
Shkodran Mustafi has also been the subject of a failed loan approach from Inter Milan, but the club are holding out for the entire £35m fee paid to Valencia last summer.
