As per the reports coming from Italian publication Tuttosport, Arsenal are willing to increase their offer for Juventus striker Moise Kean.
The report states that the North London club initially had offered a fee in the range of £31m but the Italian club were asking for a buy-back clause worth £36m to be included in the deal.
The Emirates club were not willing to accept this, so they increased their original offer to reach £36m provided that the buy-back clause was not a part of any transfer.
We will have to wait and see if this improved offer will be enough to tempt Juventus into selling Kean and especially without the inclusion of a buy-back clause. If the Gunners were able to get the striker on the kind of deal, it would be a fantastic addition to the team.
Kean over the course of last season became one of the most highly-rated youngsters in Italian as well as world football. He scored 7 goals in 17 games in the 2018/19 season and impressed with his all-round skills.
There are a couple of reasons as to why Juventus may be looking to move on Kean from Turin. The first reason could be due to the fact that the Italians have to balance their books after they have made some signings with the most notable one being that of Ajax star Matthijs de Light.
And the arrival of Maurizio Sarri could also play a factor in the future of Kean as there is no guarantee as to whether he will have a large role to play there this season. Kean would be an impressive addition to an already stacked forward line that the Gunners have.
It is always nice to have players that can make an impact and Kean is surely one of them. It remains to be seen whether Arsenal will be able to convince Juventus to let go of the buy-back clause.
It does not make a lot of sense for the Gunners to lose him after 2 or 3 years. Arsenal have improved their offer and we will have to wait and see what the response from Juventus will be like.
