Arsenal finally got some luck in their Champions League round of 16 after being drawn against AS Monaco in the draw held in Switzerland on Monday.
The Gunners finished second in their group and were expected to draw one of the bigger teams in the competition, but after facing Bayern Munich twice, Barcelona and AC Milan in their past four years, it seems the luck has finally favoured them.
It was just the perfect day at the office for the North London club , as we were odds on of facing one of the European giants but we somehow managed to get one of the weakest group winners in the form of Monaco.
This is undoubtedly the best outcome we could have hoped for and it is just what the Gunners needed after struggling for most part of this season. We have faced eventual champions in the past few years, but it is our chance now to make a real impact on the competition and may be win it although its a little too far fetched at this moment.
It would be a dream come true for Arsene Wenger who will face off against his former club in Monaco and the one who he managed for seven years, winning the French League title in 1988.
It’s seems our Le Prof’s prayers have finally come true. Here are some of the best reactions from fans and players alike on Twitter.

Arsenal draw Monaco! The kindest draw we could have got. It feels weird not getting the tournament favorite.
