Wilshere and Lacazette start, 3-4-2-1: Strongest Predicted Arsenal XI to face Huddersfield

Jack Wilshere

Arsenal will look to continue their recent winning run when they entertain Huddersfield Town at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night. The north Londoners secured a last-gasp winner over Burnley via the penalty spot last weekend, and this has propelled them to fourth in the standings for the first time this term.

Formation: 3-4-2-1

Lineup:

Petr Cech has featured in each of the last 13 league outings for Arsenal, and he should keep his place following his sixth clean sheet of the season on Sunday.

The trio of Shkodran Mustafi, Laurent Koscielny and Nacho Monreal have yet to drop points or concede a goal this campaign, and Wenger is likely to stick with the combination in the three-man backline. Likewise, Hector Bellerin and Sead Kolasinac could be fancied to keep their wing-back positions having gone unchanged since the start of September.

Aaron Ramsey received a bit of stick for his performance versus Burnley, but Wenger is unlikely to make any unnecessary changes to the winning combination. The Welshman will feature alongside Granit Xhaka at the heart of the midfield.

Arsene Wenger has literally confirmed that Mesut Ozil will miss the Huddersfield clash through illness, and we are backing Jack Wilshere to earn his maiden league start ahead of the rest.

The Englishman will most certainly partner Alexis Sanchez in the support attacking position with Alexandre Lacazette likely to lead the line ahead of both Danny Welbeck and Olivier Giroud.

Arsenal lineup: Petr Cech, Shkodran Mustafi, Laurent Koscielny, Nacho Monreal, Hector Bellerin, Sead Kolasinac, Aaron Ramsey, Granit Xhaka, Alexis Sanchez, Jack Wilshere, Alexandre Lacazette
