Arsene Wenger has revealed couple of crucial injury updates ahead of the Gunners derby clash against Tottenham on Sunday.

The North London club have been missing couple of key players over the past few weeks and some of them were expected to return to the starting line-up against their rivals.

Cazorla, Walcott and Monreal have been out for the last couple of weeks due to injury. Wenger has a good enough squad at his disposal but these players will directly make it to the starting line-up, so having them available will be a big boost.

The French manager had some mixed updates for the fans, while he confirmed that Bellerin and Walcott will be available there wasn’t much of a good news regarding the other 2 players.

Speaking to Arsenal Player, he said:

The players who did not travel like Cazorla, Monreal, Walcott – there is still some uncertainty today. The closest to coming back looks to be Walcott. We will have a test with him.

Hector has a test. I left him behind [in midweek] because I was cautious with him. We could have basically forced the issue, he could have played maybe in Bulgaria but he should be alright [for Sunday].

[Nacho] He has tests today and tomorrow and then we will decide.

[Cazorla] He is similar, he has not practised yet – he will try to go out today and we will see where we go from there. He is a doubt, yes.

The last few weeks have been great for Arsenal and hopefully they will continue the form. However, November has always been a difficult month for the Gunners, if we look back at our failed League campaigns over the last decade and this time too the fixture list looks pretty daunting starting with the North London derby.

This game has always been intriguing, but this time it is all the more crucial considering the race for the Premier League being very open and it will be an opportunity for both the teams to throw some weight behind their title credentials.

One particular stat which is making this game more exciting is the fact that Tottenham remain the only unbeaten team this season in the League and over coming this stat will give the fans a great of satisfaction.
