Deadline day: Arsenal look to complete double deal before transfer window closes

Well, a quick transfer roundup of all our potential departures (no arrivals as of yet) about to happen or not going to happen before the transfer window shuts.

Krystian Bielik:

First off ARSENAL are reportedly in advanced talks to let our highly rated youth product Krystian Bielik join Charlton Athletic on loan according to reports in Polish outlet First Eleven till the end of the season.

The 19-year-old has made just one appearance for the Gunners this term, coming on as a substitute in the EFL Cup last September

The report states that talks have taken place with the League One side about a transfer and the decision reportedly rests with Arsene Wenger right now who is to take the final decision on whether sending him off to another club is going to benefit his development.

Wenger is said to possibly have reservations whether the 19-year-old is going to be afforded sufficient game time in order to aid his development.

Bielik is highly thought of at the North London club but is some way down the pecking order at the Emirates and is facing a hard time breaking into the first time so it is believed that he has the required caliber to prove manager Karl Robinson of his worth and establish himself as a starter out there.

If afforded sufficient chance he can veritably establish himself and have a breakthrough 6 months at a club which has given us players like Song and Coquelin who have returned from obscurity and have resurrected their careers out there.

Carl Jenkinson:

Here’s what Arsene Wenger had to say about the lastest updates on Carl’s situation:

on Carl Jenkinson…

There’s no news about him at all.

We are still open because we have many players in his position, but at the moment it doesn’t look like something will happen.

on whether Jenkinson’s move to Palace is dead…

For us, no. For him? I don’t know.

on whether it would be a permanent deal…

Yes.

Meanwhile Palace boss has suggested that they have moved on saying he has other priorities at the moment:

“We have other priorities at the moment [than Jenkinson],”

“Who knows what might happen, but not for now.

It’s a shame he couldn’t make it at the club he loves. Hopefully, he will be able to find a club, where he could be afforded plenty of game time.

Wishing him all the best in his journey when he does move on.

It also looks like nobody is interested in Mathieu Debuchy even though he was reportedly said to be in France trying to engineer a move abroad back to Ligue 1

Let’s hope all the loan moves go through with their desired benefits for all our players.

Till the next update COYG !!!!!
