Arsenal will seek to close the gap on the top-four when they take on title-chasing Tottenham Hotspur in the north London derby this weekend.

The Gunners have won their last three outings since the switch to the 3-4-2-1 formation, and they will be hopeful of earning a positive result against Spurs, despite their average record at White Hart Lane of late.

Arsene Wenger is likely to make a couple of changes to his starting XI with the likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Rob Holding set to return.

Formation: 3-4-2-1

Lineup:

Petr Cech will retain his spot between the sticks. The Czech international made a match-winning save from a Riyad Mahrez volley on Wednesday night, and he will have to maintain a similar level against an attack-minded Spurs side.

Rob Holding is likely to regain his place in the middle of the back three with Gabriel and Laurent Koscielny accompanying him at the heart of the defence. Koscielny is currently nursing a knee problem, but Wenger feels the skipper has a 60 percent chance of participating.

Hector Bellerin could start in the right wing-back position with an in-form Nacho Monreal taking up a similar role in the opposite direction.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has impressed in his short time at right wing-back, but he could be pushed into a more central role alongside Granit Xhaka after Francis Coquelin was particularly poor versus the Foxes.

Both Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez are certainties in the starting lineup, and they will take up their positions just behind the striker with the latter in particular liking to drift to the left side of the attack.

Theo Walcott visibly failed to make an impact after his recent snub, and he could be replaced with Danny Welbeck, who has made more of an impression than his fellow Englishman on the pitch.
