A star-studded affair at the Emirates stadium will help settle Group A of the Champions League, with Paris Saint-Germain paying a visit to Arsenal on Wednesday night.

Both teams are on level terms with 10 points each, and drew the reverse fixture 1-1 in France around 2 months back. The North London club are leading on goal difference and might just need a draw to stay at the pinnacle of the group thanks to the better goal difference.

They play Basel in the final group game, and a win there will ensure smooth passage. Here are some comments from the boss during his pre-match press-conference.

Speaking to Arsenal Player, he said:

“I believe that the two teams have done the job until now. We have done what was expected and we have done it away from home, now we can finish the job at home.”

“Of course we want to do it. We played a draw there and it’s just down to us to win the game there.”

The Gunners have been a different team this season, as they have learnt to nick off points against the opposition even when they are not at their best. A perfect example was the game against Manchester United, with Rio Ferdinand also echoing with this fact.

Paris Saint German on the other hand are slowly getting themselves together under their new boss. The home advantage doesn’t really count during these big games and it is more of a psychological battle and hopefully the Gunners will come on top.

Will Arsenal fans be happy that PSG right back Serge Aurier wasn’t granted a Visa into UK? Well we know who would be glad(Monreal) because the last time, Aurier was a constant attacking threat down the right flank making Monreal look like a newby time and time again.

Coming to the team news, Sanchez might start on the wing for the first time this season, leaving Giroud upfront. Apart from that change and Ospina coming back, there are unlikely to be any other changes

PSG have got luxury in Angel diMaria who seems to be in fine form of late. The last time these two teams met, David Ospina turned out to be the hero denying Edinson Cavani time and time again and hopefully he can continue to do that today.

Predicted Line-up – Arsenal: Ospina; Jenkinson, Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal; Coquelin, Xhaka; Walcott, Özil, Sanchez; Giroud.
