Mustafi and Sanchez start, 3-4-2-1: Predicted Arsenal lineup to face Burnley

Alexandre Lacazette

Arsenal will look to maintain their winning momentum in the Premier League when they take on Burnley at Turf Moor on Sunday afternoon. The Gunners cruised to a 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur in the north London derby last weekend, and they should be up for it in east Lancashire despite the midweek Europa League defeat to Koln which involved a second-string squad.

Formation: 3-4-2-1

Lineup:

Petr Cech has started in all 12 Premier League outings for Arsenal this campaign, and he is certain to start between the sticks for the Clarets clash. Shkodran Mustafi made a stunning injury comeback with an all-round performance versus Spurs, and he is expected to keep his position alongside regulars Laurent Koscielny and Nacho Monreal in central defence.

Likewise, Hector Bellerin and Sead Kolasinac have improved on their showing as a pair, and they are assured of starting in the right and left wing-back positions respectively.

Jack Wilshere had an average game versus Koln in midweek, and this suggests that he may have to wait longer for his first league start of the season. Expect Aaron Ramsey and Granit Xhaka to feature at the heart of the midfield.

Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez are certain to keep their spots as the support attackers, and they are likely to play behind Alexandre Lacazette, who has made a splendid start to his Gunners career with six goals in 12 outings.

Predicted Arsenal lineup (3-4-2-1): Petr Cech, Laurent Koscielny, Shkodran Mustafi, Nacho Monreal, Hector Bellerin, Aaron Ramsey, Granit Xhaka, Sead Kolasinac, Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez, Alexandre Lacazette
