Huge boost for Arsenal as Sky Sports journalist confirms star has returned to full training

Mesut Ozil

As far as fans are concerned, the international break has come at the wrong time for the Gunners.

The club is on a nine-match winning streak and they would like to keep the momentum going for as long as possible. And if the club wants that to happen, it is essential for all the players to be fit.

Arsenal have received some good news in that regard with Mesut Ozil being confirmed as returning to full training by journalist Ben Dinnery.

Dinnery who works for ESPN and Sky Sports, had this to say about the German:

“Mesut Ozil will return to full training today…… He missed the win at Fulham because of a back spasm.”

This is very good news for the club as it means that they are getting one of their star players back into the fold. The German has had a very good start to this season despite being occasionally asked to play in an unfamiliar position.

Ozil has had a turbulent past few months with his retirement from the German national team being a major reason for that. So, it is important for the player to feel a sense of stability at the club and one of way of doing that is by being fit.

The Gunners will want their winning run to go on and right now, they seemed to have settled on a system that is doing the job for them. And when you add someone with the talent of Ozil to that mix, it is only bound to become better.

Arsenal are fighting for four competitions at the moment and that means that the squad will be stretched to its limit.

Things are beginning to look bright for the Gunners and it will be good for both the club and the fans if they are able to carry this momentum and get back into the Champions League. For that to happen, Ozil will surely have a huge role to play.
