Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck could be back in action before the new year and the Gunners fans are delighted with the update.
The Telegraph yesterday revealed that the England international is making excellent progress on his return from injury, and is already back in training.
Welbeck, 26, required knee surgery in May and was ruled out for nine months. But he appears to be ahead of his rehabilitation schedule and could be available for selection this month.
The Englishman has had his struggles playing up front with Arsenal before the injuries struck, but there are certain talents he has that are undeniable, and those things will be incredibly welcomed when he does return.
The striker can also serve a great purpose in the Gunners attack and it will also mean that the North London club can have three strikers on the pitch at once. With Welbeck, Alexis and Giroud all on the field at once, will give any opposing clubs shivers.
However, Wenger will by no means be looking to rush Welbeck back to action – even though he is ahead of schedule. The Gunners boss will not want to risk aggravating the injury and lose him for another lengthy period.
Here are some of the Fan reactions from Twitter:

Will add new dimension
Pretty excited to have Welbeck back. Can play across front three and don't think there's a player he can't link up with.

Absolutely can't wait for Welbeck to return from injury. We look like a different team when he's playing. Extremely underrated player.

Özil false 9 would be peak, Welbeck tucking in to take over that ST position at times but still act as a workhorse on LW
