Arsene Wenger to make £30m offer for top-class striker: Gunners fans will love this

Arsenal’s match at the Etihad against Manchester city finally ended a 2-2 draw and the Gunners are currently placed 3rd on the Premier League table.

Arsene Wenger after the game contemplated that he will look forward to strengthening the team by signing couples of players in the summer. According to the Express, he said:

“We have to add something defensively as a team. We need to be more ruthless. I don’t think we are soft. But, yes, we need to toughen up. In some games we were caught.”

Arsenal are reportedly planning £30million raid for Liverpool elite striker Daniel Sturridge. The Express claims Arsenal manager has realised the fact that he needs to sign a world class player at the 9 roll and it is believed he has earmarked Sturridge to fill the void left by.

Olivier Giroud who’s form has wavered in the second half of season is understood to be replaced by workaholic striker Sturridge. The Englishman had a fair performance has scored 12 goals in 23 appearances for Liverpool this season.

Liverpool, on the other hand have been linked with Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski. So there is high tendency that Sturridge might be sold. It further states that Real Madrid have decided to sell Karim Benzema and they will have to go all-out in this summer to land the Poland international.

Ex-Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp is interested in signing the forward, who he formerly worked with at Borussia Dortmund. Pep Guariola who is the incoming Manchester city boss is believed to be convincing Lewandowski to move to the Premier League with him.

It was also reported by Daily Star, that it was revealed by Sturridge has recently declared: “I am someone who wants to play every minute of every match so maybe when I’m not starting, it’s hard to take.”

The striker always seems to be enthusiastically excited and if he does not feature in all competitions he might not feature in Roy Hodgson’s Euro 2016 squad.

Sturridge signed a five-year deal at the Anfield back in 2014, but has never for ones made a mention of spending his entire career at Liverpool.

Sturridge spent four years at Aston Villa Academy move to Coventry City. He completed Manchester City move in 2003. He left Manchester City in 2009 for Chelsea, where he was loan out at the second half of the season.
